About me

Hi, I'm Mukesh Tandi.

A self-taught developer from Pundlota, India, who fell in love with making the web fast. I've spent years learning how real traffic behaves โ€” and how to build sites and servers that stay quick under it.

How I got here

I didn't start with a degree or a fancy job โ€” I started with curiosity. My first real project was RoyalGovtJobs.com, a government-jobs portal (which I've since retired). Running it threw me straight into the deep end: real users, real traffic, and a site that had to stay fast while publishing new content every day.

That experience turned me into a performance engineer. I learned caching, SEO, server tuning and database optimization not from a textbook, but because a slow page meant losing readers. It's where my obsession with speed and scalability was born.

What I do today

These days my main platform is RojgarMandi.com, a jobs portal serving daily traffic โ€” I even built its custom child theme from scratch. Alongside it, I build and operate high-traffic wishing and greeting websites โ€” the kind that get slammed on festivals and special occasions when everyone shares wishes at once. Surviving those viral spikes without slowing down is a very specific engineering problem, and one I genuinely enjoy solving.

To run these sites better, I write my own WordPress plugins. I got tired of bloated, slow plugins from the marketplace, so I built lean ones that solve the exact performance and workflow problems I kept hitting. These plugins run privately on my own websites โ€” they're not published publicly.

How I think about the web

A website isn't just how it looks โ€” it's how fast it loads, how well it ranks, whether it survives traffic, and whether it can sustainably earn. I care about all of it, from the pixels down to the server config. That full-stack ownership is what lets me ship sites that are fast, stable and built to last.

Timeline

The journey so far

Where it started

RoyalGovtJobs.com

Launched and ran a government-jobs portal (now retired). Learned SEO, caching and how to keep a content-heavy site fast as it scaled.

Going deep on servers

Performance & server engineering

Moved beyond code into Linux, LiteSpeed/Nginx tuning, OPcache and database optimization to squeeze out every millisecond.

Current main site

RojgarMandi.com

Building and running RojgarMandi.com โ€” a jobs portal serving daily traffic, with a custom child theme I built myself, and the home of my custom plugins.

Scaling traffic

High-traffic wishing sites

Built greeting/wishing websites engineered for huge seasonal, viral spikes without downtime or slowdowns.

Building tools

Custom WordPress plugins

Built my own lightweight WordPress plugins to solve real performance and workflow problems โ€” running privately on my own sites.

About this site

Built serverless โ€” on purpose

This very website runs fully serverless. There's no traditional web server behind it โ€” nothing to keep patched, secured or awake at 3am. It scales on its own from a single visitor to millions, stays fast for people anywhere in the world, and costs almost nothing to run.

I built it this way on purpose. No heavy stack, no moving parts to break โ€” just clean, static-first delivery with a small bit of dynamic logic only where it's genuinely needed (like this site's contact form, which turns a message into an email without any database or server sitting idle in between).

It's the same performance-first, low-maintenance thinking I bring to every project: fast by default, stable under load, and simple to keep running for years without babysitting.
